 Gardens Gone Wild!
11" x 14" oil on canvas
 $99

This garden is out of control!  Remnants of spring flowers ramble along beside the early poppies creating chaos and color. I should put down the brushes, and go for the clippers to bring a bit of order to this place — but I just don't think that is going to happen! Where some people will spend their time planting and pruning their garden, getting it all neat and tidy, others will spend that time painting it!

This piece is painted on all sides - it can be framed, or you can just hang it as it is.

Mountain Shadows
Chile, Southern Parks Region
9" x 12"  acrylic on canvas
$75.

Using Google Street View, The  Virtual Paintout is touring the southern parks region of Chile this month. I started going up and through the Andes, along the highway. The sun was just coming up, and one mountain cast its shadow over the highway and onto the other mountain - except at the top, which was in brilliant sunlight. I loved how the shrubs looked like trees, the trees looked like giants and everything around me was in cool shadow. You can see it here!

This piece is painted on all sides, you can frame it up, or you can hang it, just as it is.

Railroad Bridge at the River Wyre
9" x 12" oil on canvas

This month The Virtual Paintout is in Liverpool, and areas surrounding it. Traveling northeast on the Google Street View, I found this quiet corner where time seemed to have slowed down. It was so peaceful and serene, I knew I wanted to stop and paint right there!

This piece is painted on all sides, you can frame it up, or you can hang it, just as it is.

Cuesta Park Quickie
9" x 12" oil on canvas
 Sold

It was a beautiful spring day and I had the chance to get out and paint, so I headed over to Cuesta Park Annex, here in Mountain View. Because my time was limited, I needed to paint as quickly as possible and get it done in just one session. It was really fun, but I felt like I was racing the clock!

This piece is painted on all sides of the canvas. It can be framed up, or you could hang it just as it is.

Backyard Nocturne
9" x 12"  o/c
 $75

Sometimes a painting just happens. You turn a corner, or look up - and there it is, waiting to be painted! That was just what happened to me late one night when I stepped outside. The cool light of the waning moon contrasted beautifully with the warm glow from my windows, giving the backyard a special kind of radiance. The warm glow from the city lights and from the buildings across the street added to the effect.

This painting is painted on all sides of the canvas - it can be framed or hung up just as it is.

This piece can be purchased by clicking here, on you can send me an emil, address on your left.
