Giant Sycamore
8 x 10”   oil on canvas

What a pleasure it is to paint a pretty little landscape such as this, even if it’s from a photograph. This giant is a sycamore, one of many at McClellen Ranch Park  where we were hiking - with me taking lots of pictures. Those pictures come in handy when you have an urge to paint a landscape but the weather has turned cold and rainy.

This little painting is painted on all sides of the canvas, so it could be framed, or you could hang it up, just as it is.

To see more of my work, please visit my Gallery page at The Daily Paintworks, or visit my Facebook page, which has several groups devoted to painting. "Landscape Painters" is one of them. Thanks for looking!
