Washington Street, Mountain View
11"  x 14"    oil on canvas

Our city is growing and changing at a phenomenal rate.  Many old neighborhoods are giving way to high-rise housing, and streets like this are disappearing - no more houses with pyramid roofs are even thought about. I wanted to capture this charming old neighborhood with this brilliant magenta bush and that peaked roof so people could see what Mountain View looked like in days gone by -  it shouldn't be forgotten.

This piece is painted on all sides of the canvas. It can be framed up, or  hung  as  is.

To see more of my work - please visit my Gallery page at the Daily Paintworks, or at the Plein Air Artists website. Lots of nice paintings there!
