A sincere thank you to the lovely person who sent me this beautiful cup all the way from the Met (NYC). The Met is home to the famous Vincent van Gogh painting "Irises" (1880). She must have known I would want to paint that cup with some flowers in it, and so I have.

This piece is painted on all sides of a gallery-wrapped canvas (10 x10 x 1.5) and can be hung up just as it is, with no further framing - unless you'd like. It has a wire on back and is ready to go up on the wall.

Spring is here! You can tell because the spring flowers are blooming - the daffodils, crocus and especially the pansies. These pansies were on their way to the garden but stopped to pose for this little still life painting! The colors of a scarf hanging near by really compliment the hues in the flowers. 

This piece is painted on all sides of a gallery-wrapped canvas and needs no further framing. You could frame it, of course, but it has a wire on back and is ready to hang up on the wall.

Nothing like thoughts of summer to chase the winter gloom away! Where I live, it seems like the apples and the the tomatoes are ripe at the same time - right as the sunflowers are at their peak. They make a wonderful collection on the kitchen table, perfect for a still-life painting.

This picture is painted on all sides of the canvas, it can be framed, but it can also be hung up just as it is.
