Flowers and Tapestry
11" x 14" oil on canvas
 $125

This painting really took on a life of its own once I started painting it. It was supposed to be so easy, simple in concept, simple in execution, but that was not how it went. The color changed, the paint got thicker! Still, that's why painting is so much fun - you think you know how something will turn out, then you follow one color or shape to the next and you end up as surprised as anyone, and hopefully as pleased!

This canvas has deep sides, about 1 3/4 " wide, and all sides are painted. It hangs flush against the wall, and while it does not need framing, you could certainly get creative and frame it up if you like.

If you would like to have a print or cards made up of this piece, you can go to Fine Art America, a site that does print-on-demand. To see more of my work, please visit my gallery page at The Daily Paintworks.
